ELECTION DAY: NOVEMBER 06, 2012

RICH STEVENSON

CANDIDATE FOR OH 1 US CONGRESS

2012 Valid Signature Count *

*Green Party Ballot Access will be first choice for 2012: The best ballot access choice with just 25 Valid Signatures needed. Rich was the Green Party Candidate in 2010. Will consider other options if the Green Party loses ballot access in 2012.

Federal court ruled Ohio Ballot Access Laws to be Unconstitutional in 2008. The Ohio SOS wrote a directive giving Minor Parties ballot access in 2010. I was endorsed by the Ohio Green Party at the January 2010 Green Party State Convention. One month later I had all the needed 25 valid signatures to be on the Green Party Primary Ballot in May 2010. I won the Primary Election as the lone Green Party candidate. I won the Primary Election in May and was on the General Election ballot in November 2010.

Still Unconstitutional: Ohio is still operating with an unconstitutional ballot access system for minor parties. The court decision gave no opinion as far as I know on ballot access for independent candidates.

the monopoly Democratic and Republican party candidates need to get only 50 valid signatures to qualify to be on the ballot. Very easy.

The total and valid signature counts are very important numbers to track. Getting the required valid signatures for ballot access is the necessary first step in winning a non-partisan independent seat in the US Congress.

Text below outlines the ballot access petition requirements for the INDEPENDENT OPTION.

As of Date: 02-17-11

0,000 of 2,985*

Total Signature Goal (with 65% valid)
*
Number of valid signatures, 1,940, not official. Based on 1% of OH 1 Vote in 2010; 193,976 votes cast. Rich will have a personal goal of several hundred petition signatures.

Deadline 03-05-12

Days left to deadline: 365+ days (02-17-11)

Valid Signatures Required

1,940*

00% of 0,000 total PRE-Validated

*

Not official from the Board of Elections for 2012.

Goal: 1,940 valid signatures are required; can turn in max 3X the required number, 5,820 signatures. 1,940 is 1% of 2010 votes cast in the OH One Congressional election. (177 circulators with 11 valid signatures is enough for ballot access (1,947 valid.)

If 65% of our collected signatures are valid we need to collect 2,985 total signatures to be able to turn in 1,940 valid signatures to qualify for ballot access certification.

The monopoly Democratic and Republican party candidates need to get only 50 valid signatures to qualify to be on the ballot. Very easy.

Secondary Goal: Collect at least 2,000 petition signatures by May 2012 to file Federal suit in District 6 US Court to move the precedent petition deadline date to August, if necessary, to gain ballot access. Winning the suit would move the petition deadline for all non-partisan independent candidates for Federal office to the same August petition deadline date established in Federal Court for the Office of President. The same Federal suit could then be used as precedent to make the same August petition deadline date effective for all non-partisan independent candidates for Ohio statewide and legislative Public offices.

Petition Deadline: 4 PM, March 05, 2012, Monday. Can you help? Get five valid signatures to put "RICH" on the ballot. A minimum of five valid signatures out of ten signatures per sheet on 388 petition papers is enough valid signatures (5 X 388 = 1,940). Five of ten signatures, 50%, need to be valid registered voters. Many individual petition participants will commit to get 20 to 100 total signatures.

To learn how to Petition, download the "Ohio Petition Rules" file. Any questions? We will certify you in one hour. Be an Active Citizen. Telephone 513-251-3155. Mail in five good valid signatures to Citizens for Stevenson, PO Box 14674, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0674. Pre-addressed return envelopes available.

Ten signatures from your close friends, neighbors, and family you know to be registered voters is a terrific contribution. Those signatures could have a very high validity rate of 80% or more. A little effort means a lot for ballot access. Please make some effort.

Could you take a single sheet? Get 10 signatures or up to 20 signatures?

Anyone who lives anywhere in Ohio and is a registered voter can circulate my petition or any petition in Ohio. Any Ohio voter registered at an address in OH Congressional District 1 can sign the petition to put Rich Stevenson on the ballot.

Your commitment to circulate petitions to get 10 to 40 signatures is needed. Please help to put Rich on the ballot in 2012. Our public policy interests will be represented with our non-partisan candidate in Congress. Help end the bipartisan culture of corruption in Washington DC. I Pledge to be Self Term-Limited to Two Terms in Office: Four Years

RICH STEVENSON, dist1oh@cs2pr.us

-----------------------------------------------

To preserve freedom and our democratic republic we must elect new people to public office, as often as possible, and with as many newly elected private citizens as possible.

When elected, Rich will work night and day for a more democratic republic. Elect "Rich." You win. We all win. Rich will be on your ballot for OH District One Representative to the US Congress on November 06, 2012. Your non-partisan voice will be heard in the US Congress.

Elect non-partisan independent candidates on your ballot. We all win if you apply term limits in the voting booth to all Incumbent public office holders. Career politicians do harm to our dreams of freedom and a democratic republic. As the years pass, incumbent politicians serve only their political party and other special interests that support their personal political ambitions.
