Incumbent Turnover (Term Limits?)

Excerpt from The Overdue Voter Revolution, a pamphlet written by RICH STEVENSON
Electors = Voters

Frustration at being unrepresented by an aging incumbent power structure, and widespread corruption, are the reasons electors have passed term limit laws by huge majority votes in every state where the question has been on the ballot. With persistent efforts, we can draft constitutional laws that give American citizens the "turnover" desired. The Supreme Court says we cannot restrict the right of the elector to choose. The point is well made.

One approach would be to limit the number of years an incumbent can campaign or have his/her name appear on the ballot. We could avoid restricting the electors' right to choose by allowing incumbents to be re-elected for an unlimited number of terms by write-in votes on the ballot. Would the strain be too great on boards of election? If not, limiting incumbent ballot access may be a solution which would satisfy legitimate concerns of the courts. Prohibiting incumbent campaigning after a limited number of terms may also satisfy the courts.

Ideological differences between Dís & Rís have all but disappeared. The drive for money has transformed our political parties into powerful opponents of political freedom. However, Dís & Rís are still distinctive in the minds of most likely voters. Each likely voter has just one choice between one D ("liberal") or one R ("conservative") candidate on his/her ballot. In that situation actual voters will vote their ideological needs even if the incumbent party keeps on running the same incumbent for a lifetime. What choice?

Political parties dictate the behavior of incumbents who want to remain on the ballot or seek higher office in future elections. Dís & Rís, under DNC & RNC 5 control, erect a wall between between electors and open competitive elections. Our votes do not count. One of the "two-party monopoly" candidates routinely wins their primary and then the general election. Each Selected winner always follows orders dictated by his/her party.

A vote for the "other Party" can only be a protest vote "against interest" of any elector. Gerrymandering, begun in 1812, allows D's & R's to divide control of electoral districts between them. They re-draw boundaries so a decisive majority of voters within each manipulated district are likely to vote either D or R. With selection of a partisan list of likely voters in a district, another wall of control is erected. Again, the voters 4 are likely to choose one candidate dictated by the DNC & RNC monopoly. With the outcome of elections all but pre-determined, why vote? Nearly all elections are fixed.

-----------------------------------------------

We have a career incumbent dictatorship. Having a multi-party system would increase voter turnout to the 70% to 90% level enjoyed by voters in other more democratic countries. All constituents would have representation in government. At present the outcome of many, if not most, elections are determined before election day due to powerful bipartisan monopoly control by the DNC and RNC (Democrats and Republicans). Vote for nonpartisan independents, you win.

I Pledge to be Self Term-Limited to Two Terms in Office: Four Years

RICH STEVENSON, dist03ky at cs2pr.us

-----------------------------------------------

To preserve freedom and our democratic republic we must not re-elect bipartisan career incumbents to public office, as often as possible, and replace them with as many newly elected private citizens as possible.

Elect "Rich." You win. We all win. Rich is on your ballot for KY District Three Representative to the U.S. Congress on November 03, 2020. You must be proactive in this election campaign to have your voice heard in the U.S. Congress.

Elect nonpartisan independent candidates on your ballot. We all win if you apply term limits in the voting booth to all Incumbent public office holders. Establishment politicians do harm to our dreams of freedom and a democratic republic. As the years pass, incumbent politicians serve only their political party and other special interests that support their personal political ambitions.
