Nonpartisan Candidates on Ohio Ballots

All known populist nonpartisan and minor party Ohio and national candidates who will appear on Ohio Ballots in even year elections are shown on this page. Candidate Campaign Committees and/or web pages are/will be shown here so you can know them and contribute to their campaigns, in proactive participation hours or cash contributions. Ohio voters can look up their web pages to read about the candidate's issues and values. Support the populist nonpartisan movement for good government. Elect nonpartisan candidates. Ballot Access Petitions, if shown below as a link, can be downloaded and printed so you can circulate petitions for candidates of your choice. Help obtain valid petition signatures to put the candidate(s) you choose on Ohio ballots. If a petition link is not on this page, contact the candidate for a petition to circulate to make sure your candidate(s) get on the ballot.

Candidates, please use this page to advertise the campaign address or web pages where you can receive campaign contributions and time-raiser campaign work-hours for your campaign. Send your verifiable campaign information including a copy of your official ballot access petition, web page address, and petition status by Email or fax. We will verify your Campaign Committee name, address, and treasurer before adding your information to this page. If you are reading this page and know of a populist nonpartisan/minor party candidate who will be on statewide Ohio ballots and is not shown on this page, please advise so the candidate's campaign information can be added. Provide an Adobe Acrobat file of your original petition and we can post it here for IVA certified petition circulators to download and circulate on your behalf. IVA participants may help with scanning your petition or creating the Adobe Acrobat file, if possible. IVA participants may provide instruction or assistance, if needed. If you are a candidate or you know of other populist nonpartisan or minor party candidates seeking public office in the 2012 General Elections please furnish candidate information and a copy of his/her ballot access petition. Hopefully we will have candidates for U.S. President posted here before the end of 2011 or certainly several months before the General Election on November 6, 2012. Links to petitions for you to circulate to put candidates on the ballot will be shown here at the earliest date possible. 2012 is a Congressional election year with 16 seats open in the Ohio delegation to the U.S. House. We will show all nonpartisan U.S. House Candidates on the ballot in Ohio on this page. Is there a U.S. Senate election this year? There is an election for all 99 Ohio House legislative seats in this election year. All Ohio  House seats and some of the 33 Ohio Senate seats are up for election this year. Anyone 18 years of age or older can be a candidate for any Ohio legislative seat. Can you be a candidate for public office? If not you, who? If not now, when? Rich was an OH1 candidate in 2000 (Natural Law) and 2010 (Green). Rich is the 2012 Green Party "populist nonpartisan" candidate.

Election Day Participation: We are attempting to recruit over 3,000 participants to ask for the vote of every voter who comes to vote on election day, November 6, 2012. We will ask for the vote of everyone who comes to OH1 polls to vote. We can win with just 4 out of ten votes cast. You can participate to help make political history.
