ELECTION DAY: NOVEMBER 02, 2010 RICH STEVENSON CANDIDATE FOR OH 1 US CONGRESS |
|
2010 Valid Signature Count * *Green Party Ballot Access Obtained with 25 Valid Signatures: submitted in February 2010. Got ballot access with 37 total signatures submitted. The need to get 4,558 total signatures became unnecessary. Federal court ruled Ohio Ballot Access Laws to be Unconstitutional in 2008. The Ohio SOS wrote a directive giving Minor Parties ballot access in 2010. I was endorsed by the Ohio Green Party at the January 2010 Green Party State Convention. One month later I had all the needed 25 valid signatures to be on the Green Party Primary Ballot in May 2010. I won the Primary Election as the lone Green Party candidate. I won the Primary Election in May and was on the General Election ballot in November 2010. Still Unconstitutional: Ohio is still operating with an unconstitutional ballot access system for minor parties. The court decision gave no opinion as far as I know on ballot access for independent candidates. NOTE: Rich Stevenson is a Green Party member, since 2002, and has been on the Ohio Green Party Central Committee since 2002. Active in Hamilton County Green Party activities since 2001. the monopoly Democratic and Republican party candidates need to get only 50 valid signatures to qualify to be on the ballot. Very easy.
2010 Valid Signature Count The total and valid signature counts are very important numbers to track. Getting the required valid signatures for ballot access is the necessary first step in winning a non-partisan independent seat in the US Congress. As of Date: 01-01-09 0,000 of 4,558* Total
Signature Goal (with
65% valid)
Deadline 04-03-10 Days left to deadline: 450+ days Valid Signatures Required 2,963* 00% of 0,000 total PRE-Validated
