But You Must Fulfill the Requirements Shown in the Seven Steps Listed Below:

The first four Items are the easy part of the problem.

  1. A US Citizen: You must be a US Citizen. Your affirmation (statement) on your voter registration form is usually all that is needed to prove citizenship. IMPORTANT: As of 2006 in Ohio you must provide a photo ID or other acceptable ID at the time you vote to show your name and address located in the precinct  where you vote. You have the right to vote provisionally if you are not shown in the precinct voter list.

  2. Age 18 or Older: You must be 18 years of age on the day of the Election.

  3. Registered to Vote Over 30 Days: You must be registered to vote in Ohio a minimum of 30 days before the November 5, 2002 Election Day. The Board of Elections must have your registration form  in hand by October 5, 2002. Do it now to be sure.

  4. Live in District One before Election Day: You must be registered to vote and live at an address in Congressional District One before Election Day. The District One boundaries are established by the Ohio legislature. Precinct #s and locations do change as time goes by. Your precinct number and voting location may be new today. You have the right to vote provisionally if you are not shown in the precinct voter list where you live.

If You Do Not Vote in Every Election,
The last three Items are Much harder to accomplish.

  1. Know Where You Vote: You must not wait until the last minute to register to vote. Unless voting is a very high priority in your life, you will not be sure if you are registered when election day arrives and you will not know the address where you go to vote. In the confusion and the busyness of your life you will decide to put off voting until the next election. The best time to register is now. A few weeks after you register you will receive your Voter Registration Card in the US Mail. Keep an updated copy of the voter registration card with your drivers license and money, with you at all times. Important: Go to the address where you will vote before Election Day, and you will know where to go on Election Day.

  2. Find Time to Vote: The hardest part of all is finding time in your busy day on Election Day to take the time to vote. With Jack Gargan, you have a rare opportunity to be represented by a non-partisan candidate, an independent like you.

  3. Motivation: To vote, you must be motivated. You need a new kind of person to represent you in Congress. Do not miss this non-partisan opportunity in this election. We will build a more democratic republic together. (Top of Page)

Items 5 and 6 are the hard part, the part that causes 75% of all eligible voters to not vote on election days, year after year.  The last item is about regrets. Don't miss this opportunity to vote; Do it for our children and our grandchildren. Please. Vote for Jack on November 5, 2002.

?? Will You Vote in This Election ??

Yes, If You Register Now and Visit the Place You Will Vote Before Election Day. You Will Not Be Too Busy To Find the Voting Address on Election Day. You Will Know how to go there. Simple. Do Each Part and We Will Win this Election. Thank You For Your Vote. (Top of Page)

I Pledge to be Self Term-Limited to Three Terms in Office: Six Years

JACK GARGAN, jack@cs2pr.us (active Email)

-----------------------------------------------

To preserve fragile freedom and our democratic republic we must elect new people to public office, as often as possible, and with as many newly elected private citizens as possible.

When elected, Jack will work night and day for a more democratic republic. Vote for "Jack." You win. Jack will be on your ballot for FL District Five Representative to the US Congress in November 2002.

Elect non-partisan independent candidates on your ballot. We all win if you apply term limits in the voting booth to all Incumbent public office holders. Career politicians do harm to our dreams of freedom and a democratic republic. As the years pass, career politicians serve only their political party and other special interests that support their personal political ambitions.
