Meet the IVA

The loyalty of Bernie Sanders voters is not up for grabs. Global Warming; A Green New Deal; Medicare for All; Gun Control. Anyone not on our side of these issues will not get our votes. Hillary lost our votes in 2016 by representing the past. “Joe” will lose our votes in 2020 for the same reason. That is written in stone! In lower life quality too? The lives of our children! Loyalty is not about Bernie, but grounded in our issues. Joe is bought by Wall Street.

Bernie voters are mostly not loyal Democrats. The Party does not want us, only our votes. Democrats are only 30% of registered voters. Old Democrats voted to nominate Joe. Bernie got huge numbers of young and progressive voters. Like me, most do not support the DNC and establishment Democratic moderates. Bernie is an independent like the bulk of his supporters. I registered as a D in 2020 for the first time ever to vote for Bernie in the closed Ky Democratic primary. I am a moderate fiscal conservative who supports the need for the policies Bernie advocates. I also supported Andrew Yang. Joe was not on my list of choices. Joe is "Hillary" for 2020. Unacceptable to many.

Joe cannot stand on his laurals with us. Joe has none. Bernie may like him, but their knowing each other does not get our votes! Listen up Joe, or become Hillary II. DNC Warning: This is not about Bernie. It is about US. Bernie said it all, “Not Me, Us!” Is Joe loyal to me and my issues? That is the only question. (I voted for Jill Stein in 2016; I may vote Green this year too.) There were 86,000,000 eligible non-voters who did not vote in the 2018 General Election. Not democrats? Did not bother to vote. Only about 65,000,000 votes won the 2016 Presidential Election. There were more non-voters than winning votes in that election too.

“Change” won two elections for President Obama. (“Hope”) His words were full of promise after eight do-nothing years of President Bush. A Tea Party filled Congress. Tax breaks for the rich. Nothing else. Well there was the War: the jobs program. Obama's cabinet was filled with Wall Street executives. Biden was there. Obama and Biden brutally shut down the Occupy Wall Street movement using police in the street with pepper spray and violence. Joe Biden wants to go back to those good times. No thanks! Joe seems comfortable with constant warfare too. Climate change? “Hope” won two elections for Bill Clinton. NAFTA: Clinton's negative jobs program. Meaningless words not fulfilled are not enough. Time for a Proactive Voter Movement:  Our Voices

One third to one half of Bernie voters at this point in time will vote for Greens or just plain not go to vote. If traditional Joe, as he is, and Trump, are the only choices on the ballot, millions of Bernie voters will write in “Bernie” on their ballot, or will simply not bother to vote. Millions!! Trump won the last election with fewer than 100,000 well placed votes in a few mid-western states. At this point Trump is a sure winner. A vote for Biden is a vote to return to a “hopeless” past with no chance for “change.”

I will vote for Bernie in the KY Democratic Primary. I will try to move Joe to being acceptable by moving him to champion Bernie's issues. Up to Joe and the DNC to get my vote. Joe has a long way to go to be acceptable. I am not alone. We are legion. Unfortunately, many here are best at inaction. We are beaten down and need inspiration and faith. We are tired of empty promises of  “Hope”, representation. Bernie had our trust. Like FDR supporters said, “he knows me.” Joe doesn't. The 2020 General Election was a chance to elect someone we can trust, if we could just get through the fixed DNC Primary Election Process. Fixed by the “real” Democrats and constant media “pro-moderate” rhetoric.   (Top of Page)

With no good choices on the ballot we must begin to build the Proactive Voter Movement to increase voter turnout and to build the IVA structure needed to elect good populist candidates. Sign the proactive voter pledge. Unite America. E Pluribus Unum.

We must take power from (and within) the D and R parties to have open elections so all voters have a reason to vote. Elect populist candidates we put on the ballot to defeat establishment D and R candidates. Occupy Elections.
