The lower 20%. The voiceless. The powerless. Victims of income inequality. Ignored by democrats and the media. Conned by Republicans. Some women who voted for Pro-Choice laws that won in seven states and three other Pro-Choice laws in other states that lost, also crossed the line and voted for tRump, who WAS RESPONSIBLE for the overturn of Roe v. Wade. Does that make sense? tRump won more votes of the desperate poor who work two, three, four or more jobs (in the family) to get by. 20% to 40% invisible to everyone else. Voiceless. Powerless. Then along came two tRump Cons that got their desperate attention. No taxes on tips. No taxes on overtime. The upper 60% of voters have no experience to understand the desperation that made blue collar voters hold their noses and vote for a Con man promising them money. I understand. I once worked with that class of desperate people working multiple jobs in order to survive. The two Cons became a constant message in every tRump speech after the two Cons were introduced in very blue collar Las Vegas, NV. Another Con, #3, ran by Elon Musk was a Lottery giving away $1,000,000 each day to the winner drawn daily. That got attention from first time voters. Got new voters to pledge their vote for tRump. Also Trump's signature was on checks to everyone on Covid-relief checks when Trump was President. Some people remember that as money from Trump. Another Trump Con, #4. No taxes on tips and overtime. Four Cons. Swindles. About time? Overdue help? Employers of low income people at that level can safely fail to pay overtime when it is worked. Overtime is rare no matter how many hours are worked on several jobs of short duration or kept at twenty hours per week to avoid treating workers as full time. Also avoids paying benefits. Overtime is always avoided by using more under-40-hour workers. Mass injustice to the powerless. Pissed off? Vote tRump. Trump will also short those workers. He is a Con artist. The best. tRump will not follow through on any of his lies. He never does. He will have “concepts of a plan” to help overtime workers and those who work for tips. Like his medical plans, “the greatest ever,” that are never completed. He just keeps enriching Billionaires and ignoring blue collar workers. The lower 20% are not part of his club. Golf anyone? They voted after they were Conned. He won. tRump voters, you are now forgotten. tRUMP WON! News people, journalists, in the 1% are blind to the desperate and the forgotten 20% of Americans. So journalists have no idea of the forces that lost the election for the Democrats and the woman who would have been the greatest President for the people since FDR. 5% new voters would be enough to swing the election. FDR was elected four times in a row. FDR had a popular vote mandate from all of the people. That social democrat. For the people. tRump fooled the media and the media 1%. Not a big win. The thinnest of victories won by fooling the desperate blue collar poor. Got them out to vote red. New 1st time voters. Help is not coming. Sorry folks. tRump lies about “Help on the way.” You were Conned. PROJECT 2025: We are going backward with tRump in office. Project 2025. PDF Link. Wake up. Get the real perspective on what just happened. Tell the full story. tRump Conned a narrow victory with outright blue collar Cons. Brilliant strategy. Tips and overtime, meaningful to non voters who are invisible to big money politics. Democrats were busy asking for money constantly, in texts and Emails, from people with little to give. Desperate to win. Raised $1 billion dollars. ($500 from me living on Social Security. In my opinion, tRump is a fascist dictator in the making). tRump was offering money (tax breaks) to blue collar voters. The lies paid off. The swindle worked. The win was not huge or history making in any meaningful way. Not a mandate for tRump's issues. Most tRump voters were not highly informed. Many were not aware that Biden had dropped out. None of these voters gave tRump a mandate on any policy. Some liked his support of White Supremacists or/and Christian Nationalists. Most wanted lower prices for groceries, rent and mortgage costs. We all want that. SUPER CON MAN: tRump smells desperation like a dog smells fear. Super Con Man. Meet your Marvel Comics super villain. CON MAN. In the end tRump did get 49.9% of the popular vote at 100% of the vote counted, stayed at less than 50% to the end. Hillary got about 54% of the popular vote in 2016. Joe got 51.31% of the popular vote in 2020. All were close elections with no mandate indicated for any of those Presidents. Congress has an equal voice with the President determined by elections and mandated by the Constitution. Government by consensus. 25% IS FAR FROM A MANDATE! In one nationwide NBC News Exit Poll, shown on Meet the Press the first Sunday after the election, 73% of the voters polled were either angry, 30%, or dissatisfied, 43%. Only 6% were enthusiastic or satisfied, 19%. Those were feelings about the way things were going after the election. Only 25% were feeling positive. Certainly no mandate was indicated for tRump. 75% negative. When tRump makes his moves to become a dictator, push back. Keep alert. Pay attention to what is happening. Speak up very loudly to oppose and defeat his efforts to overturn our democratic republic. Defend the Constitution. We each have a voice. “We must become proactive good citizens” to protect our country. We must take power from (and within) the D and R parties to have OPEN PRIMARY elections so all voters have a vote in all elections. Elect pro-democracy candidates put on the ballot by voters to defeat establishment D and R candidates. Occupy Elections. Everybody Vote! “We must become proactive good citizens to have a voice in public policy” everywhere.
